Effective date: June 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and MyCampusPadi Ltd (“MyCampusPadi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the MyCampusPadi mobile application, web administration console, and related services (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are below the age of 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the Services.

3. Account registration and security
To use most features, you must create an account. When you register, you agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information;
- keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with a third party;
- hold one account per person, unless you are also a Vendor or Vendor Staff in addition to being a Buyer;
- notify us immediately at support@mycampuspadi.com if you suspect that your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account, except where it results from the breach of our security obligations.
4. User roles
The Services support the following roles. A user may hold more than one role:
- Buyer: the default role, used to browse Vendors and place Orders.
- Vendor: a verified business account that may publish Listings and accept Orders. Verification involves KYC checks.
- Vendor Staff: a person invited by a Vendor owner (for example, a delivery rider or manager) to act on behalf of the Vendor and within the scope of the role granted.
- Moderator: a person authorised by MyCampusPadi to review and decide disputes between Buyers and Vendors.
- Admin and Super Admin: MyCampusPadi staff who operate and configure the platform.
5. Marketplace rules
5.1 Buyer obligations
- place Orders honestly and only where you intend to pay and receive the goods or services;
- provide accurate delivery information to Vendors;
- communicate respectfully with Vendors and Vendor Staff;
- not use the Services to defraud, harass, or threaten any other user.
5.2 Vendor obligations
- publish accurate Listings, including correct prices, photographs, descriptions, and stock availability;
- fulfil confirmed Orders promptly and to the quality represented in the Listing;
- comply with all applicable Nigerian laws, including consumer-protection, hygiene, and food-safety laws where they apply;
- respond to Buyer messages in a professional and timely manner;
- not list any prohibited item, as set out in section 5.3.
5.3 Prohibited items and conduct
You must not list, offer, sell, advertise, or attempt to deliver through the Services any of the following:
- controlled substances and recreational drugs (including marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and any substance whose possession or sale is restricted under Nigerian law);
- prescription medication outside of a duly licensed pharmacy, and where so permitted by law;
- alcohol or tobacco sold to a person below the legal age;
- firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives, or any weapon;
- counterfeit, stolen, or pirated goods;
- items that infringe a third party’s intellectual property rights;
- any sexually explicit material;
- content that promotes hate speech, violence, terrorism, or discrimination based on tribe, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability;
- financial, betting, lottery, or investment schemes that are unlicensed, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful in Nigeria;
- any other goods or services unlawful under Nigerian law.
6. Listings and content
By publishing a Listing or other content on the Services, you warrant that:
- you own or otherwise have the right to sell the relevant goods or services;
- the Listing and any photographs do not infringe any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- the Listing is accurate and not misleading.
MyCampusPadi may, at its discretion, remove, hide, or restrict any Listing that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or applicable law. We may also notify the relevant authorities where required. We will inform the Vendor where reasonably practicable and provide an opportunity to respond and rectify the issue.
7. Orders, pricing, and delivery
- All prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN), inclusive of any taxes the Vendor is required to charge.
- Once a Buyer confirms an Order, and the Vendor accepts it, a contract for the sale of the relevant goods or services is formed directly between the Buyer and the Vendor. MyCampusPadi is not a party to that contract.
- Delivery is the responsibility of the Vendor or the delivery option arranged through the Services. Estimated delivery times are best-efforts and not guarantees.
- Cancellation is allowed up to the point the Vendor begins preparation or assigns a rider, after which our refund policy applies.
8. Payments
Payments on the Services are processed by licensed payment providers, currently Flutterwave and Paystack. By using these payment methods, you agree to their applicable terms and privacy policies.
MyCampusPadi does not handle or store your full card details. We facilitate Orders and receive transaction references from the payment providers.
Where a refund is approved through our dispute process, it will be issued to the original payment method or to your Wallet, at our discretion and subject to the rules of the underlying payment provider.
9. Wallet
The Wallet, where enabled for your account, is a non-cash, non-transferable record of in-app credit. The following rules apply:
- Wallet credit does not accrue interest and is not a deposit-taking arrangement;
- Wallet credit may be earned through promotions or issued as refunds where we choose to refund to Wallet rather than the original payment method;
- Wallet credit may be used to pay for Orders placed through the Services and is not redeemable for cash, except where required by law or where we expressly offer a cash-out option;
- We may set transaction, balance, or hold limits on the Wallet from time to time;
- Inactive Wallet balances may be subject to dormancy rules notified in advance.
10. Disputes and refunds
Our dispute process is designed to resolve Order-level issues quickly and fairly. The standard flow is:
- Step 1 — Raise: the Buyer raises a dispute through the app within [72] hours of delivery (or expected delivery), describing the issue and attaching evidence where possible.
- Step 2 — Respond: the Vendor has [48] hours to respond and propose a resolution.
- Step 3 — Review: if the parties cannot agree, a Moderator reviews the dispute and decides within a reasonable time.
- Step 4 — Outcome: refunds may be issued in full or in part to the original payment method or the Buyer’s Wallet, in line with the Moderator’s decision.
- Step 5 — Escalation: either party may appeal a Moderator decision to MyCampusPadi support within [7] days of the decision.
Refunds are not available for goods consumed, damaged through the Buyer’s fault, or otherwise outside the scope of this dispute process.
11. Reviews and ratings
You may leave reviews and ratings for Vendors and Orders. You agree to:
- submit only honest reviews based on your actual experience;
- not post fake, manipulated, or incentivised reviews;
- not include personal data of any other person, defamatory statements, or unlawful content.
MyCampusPadi may remove, moderate, or hide reviews that breach these rules. We do not edit a review’s substance.
12. Vendor verification and approval
To register as a Vendor, you must complete our KYC process, which may include submitting business details, a government-issued ID, and an identity verification selfie for matching. We may decline a Vendor application or suspend or terminate a Vendor account if:
- KYC information is incomplete, inaccurate, or cannot be verified;
- we reasonably believe the Vendor is engaged in fraud, money laundering, or other unlawful activity;
- the Vendor repeatedly breaches these Terms or our marketplace rules;
- the Vendor receives a pattern of upheld disputes or quality complaints.
Approval as a Vendor is not guaranteed. Suspension or termination may include withholding payouts pending investigation, subject to applicable law.
13. Vendor Staff
Vendor owners may invite Vendor Staff (for example, delivery riders or managers) by email through the Services. By inviting a person as Vendor Staff, the Vendor owner:
- warrants that the staff member is authorised to act on the Vendor’s behalf;
- is responsible for the staff member’s actions on the Services;
- agrees to remove staff who no longer act for the Vendor.
Vendor Staff accounts are scoped to the Vendor that invited them and must not be used for personal purposes outside that scope.
14. Events and ticketing
Where the Services include event ticketing, the event organiser is solely responsible for the event, including venue, scheduling, safety, refund policies, and compliance with Nigerian event-management requirements.
- Tickets purchased through the Services may be non-transferable, except where the organiser expressly permits transfer.
- Each ticket displays a unique QR code, which is scanned by Vendor Staff or the organiser’s scanning users at the gate. Duplicated, screenshot, or reused tickets may be rejected.
- Refunds for cancelled or rescheduled events are governed by the organiser’s policy, which must be disclosed at the time of ticket purchase.
15. Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in the Services (including software, design, logos, and branding) belong to MyCampusPadi or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Services in line with these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as Listings, photos, and reviews). By submitting content, you grant MyCampusPadi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Services. This licence ends when you delete the content, except where retention is required for legal or dispute-resolution purposes.
16. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit any person on your behalf to:
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
- harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person;
- attempt to defraud another user or MyCampusPadi;
- scrape, harvest, mirror, or otherwise extract data from the Services other than as expressly permitted;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Services;
- probe, scan, or test the security of the Services without prior written authorisation;
- introduce any virus, malware, or other harmful code;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
17. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict your access to any part of the Services, if:
- you breach these Terms or any applicable law;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, or other misconduct;
- we are required to do so by a competent authority;
- you have been inactive for a prolonged period.
Where reasonably possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue. On termination, your right to use the Services ends, but provisions of these Terms that by their nature survive termination will continue to apply, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law.
18. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:
- MyCampusPadi makes no warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times;
- MyCampusPadi is not a party to the underlying sale of goods or services between Buyers and Vendors and is not liable for the acts or omissions of any user;
- MyCampusPadi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or loss of opportunity;
- MyCampusPadi’s total aggregate liability to you in any 12 months is capped at the greater of (a) NGN [50,000] or (b) the total fees and commissions you paid to MyCampusPadi in that period;
- nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Nigerian law (including liability for fraud or gross negligence).
We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including network outages, public infrastructure failures, civil unrest, government action, or any other force majeure event.
19. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyCampusPadi and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- your breach of these Terms or any applicable law;
- your Listings, Orders, or other content;
- your interactions with other users;
- any infringement by you of a third party’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
20. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation. If a dispute is not resolved within [30] days, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act, 2023. The seat of arbitration shall be Delta State, Nigeria. The language shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the app and update the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will give you reasonable advance notice through an in-app notice, push notification, or email. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those updates.
